The amount you committed to invest with the Hedged Bitcoin application has to have the corresponding funds available in your Uphold wallet in order for the investment to be processed. As an example, if you committed 100 USD, then you need to have at least $100 available in your Uphold account on a USD-denominated Uphold card. If you committed 1 Bitcoin, then you need to have 1 Bitcoin available on a BTC-denominated Uphold card.
Please note that if you have multiple cards of the denomination you decided to invest, then you will need to put the corresponding funds yourself on the Uphold card labeled "Committed to HBC" which we create for you. This happens, for example, when users allocate funds onto multiple cards of the same denomination manually and we want to make sure that the Hedged Bitcoin application does not interfere with their custom logic.
As soon as you have the funds available on the corresponding Uphold card, your committed amount of investment for the Hedged Bitcoin application will be ready and processed from the waitlist with the next investment window.
